Our Beliefs

At Bless This Brain, we believe:

• Everyone is created in the image of God and should be treated with dignity and respect. (Genesis 1:27)
• We were created body and spirit. God cares for our body and spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
• The church is called to care for the body and spirit. (James 2:14-17, Matthew 25:43)
• Mental Illness is a physical ailment and not the result of spiritual sin. (John 9:2-3)
• As Christians, we must be cognizant of the symptoms of mental illness less we heap burden and shame where we may have brought healing instead. (Galatians 6:2)
• Mental illness does not discriminate. It can affect all Christians in all denomination and theological settings. (Psalm 34:19)
